Top Tier CME LLC (“we,” “our,” or “us”) is committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and safeguard your personal information when you visit our website (www.TopTierCME.com) and use our services (the “Site”).

By accessing or using the Site, you consent to the practices described in this Privacy Policy. If you do not agree with the terms, please do not use the Site.

Information Collection

When you visit our Site, we may collect certain information about you. This helps us deliver a more efficient, personalized experience and respond to specific requests you make. In some cases, we may ask you to provide information directly, while in others, we may collect it automatically. We only collect and process your personal data when we have a lawful basis for doing so, including your consent, the fulfillment of a contractual obligation, or when we have a legitimate interest in processing your information. We may collect and/or receive the following types of information:

Information You Share

Personal Information. You may be asked to provide personal information including your name, address, email address, phone number, job title, and license number when you sign up for an account or any mailing lists. We will only request the personal information that is required in order to fulfill our obligations to you  (i.e., to set up user accounts and access to course materials), as well as to comply with any legal obligations that may accompany such an exchange.

Order & Billing Information. If you purchase courses through our Site, we track certain information about the products you purchase. At checkout, you may also be required to provide additional information required for processing your payment. This generally includes a debit or credit card or other payment information, expiration dates, card security codes, your billing address, or similar information. This information is generally processed and captured by third-party vendors, such as payment processors and merchant account providers. Third-party vendors who assist us in any of our business functions will also be doing so pursuant to their own terms and conditions, including privacy policies and terms of use.

Information Collected Automatically

Activity Info (Log Data). Information may be collected based on your use of the Site, which generally includes information about your computer hardware and software, such as: Internet Protocol (“IP”) addresses, operating systems, browser types, device types, URLs, access dates and times; Site pages that you visit; referring website information; universally unique identifiers (“UUID”), advertising identifier (“IDFA”), carrier and country location, hardware and processor information, network type, and other related data.

Use of Cookies. Our Site may use cookies to deliver a better experience for you. The term ‘cookies’ refers to files with small amounts of data that a website stores on your computer or mobile device’s hard drive so that certain information about your visit and web-browsing preferences are recognized upon a return visit. Cookies serve functions such as “remembering” log-in names and passwords or enabling or saving contents of a shopping cart. Similar to many websites, we may use both session cookies (which expire once you close your web browser) and persistent cookies (which stay on your computer until you delete them) to help us improve the experience you have with our Site. Most web browsers have a function allowing you to delete existing cookies on your device or set your browser options to not receive or accept cookies. Doing this may interfere with your ability to use the Site.

How We Share Your Information

We do not sell your personal information. However, we may share information with:

  • Service Providers: Including payment processors (e.g., Stripe), email marketing tools, and gift card vendors (e.g., Giftbit)
  • Course Accreditation Partners: If necessary to issue CME credit or verification
  • Legal Requirements: When required by law or to protect our rights and safety

When sharing with third-party vendors, we limit the information to what is necessary to perform the contracted service.

Gift Cards and Rewards. If you participate in a rewards program (e.g., earning a gift card for completing a course module), we may share your name and email address with a third-party gift card provider, Giftbit. Redemption of any rewards is subject to that provider’s terms. We are not responsible for expired, lost, or unclaimed rewards. You are responsible for ensuring proper redemption and tax reporting of any incentives.

Managing Cookies in Your Browser

Most web browsers automatically accept cookies, but if you prefer, you can edit your browser options to block them in the future. The ‘Help’ portion of the toolbar on most browsers will tell you how to prevent your computer from accepting new cookies, how to have the browser notify you when you receive a new cookie, or how to disable cookies altogether. Visitors to our Site who disable their web browsers’ ability to accept cookies will be able to browse the Site; however, some Site features may not function if you disable cookies.

Data Retention and Security
